Sterling Senior Center
Sterling, MA

Sterling Senior Center is a 6,450 SF new construction project at the intersection of Muddy Pond and Boutelle Roads in Sterling, MA.  The space includes a large Multipurpose Room, Game Room, Art & Computer classroom, and home offices for the Sterling Council on Aging.  The building was planned as a community resource and provides a wide variety of uses beyond the senior center. The Senior Center serves nearly 1,700 seniors in the Town of Sterling, with customary elder services, but also activities like yoga, line dancing, jazz concerts and Elder Keep Well Clinics.

The project was unique in that the budget was established at $2 Million without benefit of a previous feasibility study. T2 delivered a design with the full program for under $2 Million, which took diligent work with the Building Committee. Construction was completed in spring 2016.
